Courthouse Inn Deluxe Cheesecake
Ingredients
- 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 32 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 29 ounces Cherry Pie Filling Strawberry Pie Filling also works
Instructions
- Combine crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of the 13x9 inch pan. Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla; pour over crust. Bake at 375 degrees, 30 minutes.
- Let stand 15 minutes. Combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Spread over cheesecake. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
- Cool; chill. Serve with cherry or strawberry pie filling. Makes 16 servings.
