Everyday Chicken Casserole
You are going to love this Everyday Chicken Casserole, it is a hearty casserole everyone will love.
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 6 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 diced bell pepper
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup noodles cooked and drained
- 2 cups chicken cooked
- Melt 4 tablespoons butter; blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk and 1 cup broth; cook until thick and smooth. Stir in cheese. Saute onion, green pepper, and celery in remaining butter. Add 1-cup broth; simmer for 5 minutes. Add to sauce with noodles and chicken. Turn into a casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
