Olive Garden Tortellini al Forno is part of the Olive Garden small plate's menu. If you have never tried it cheese and prosciutto-filled tortellini in a parmesan cream sauce, topped with crumbled bacon.
The Olive Garden serves up some lovely small plates which are perfect for an appetizer, or you can even order a couple of these small plates and make a meal of them. I recently tried the Olive Garden Tortellini at Forno, it is a delicious dish that you are certain to love. Stuffed tortellini are served with a creamy Parmesan sauce and topped with crumbled bacon. It is hard to resist this dish, it is so easy to make.
For this copycat for the Olive Garden Tortellini at Forno, I am using store bought tortellini, you can find the tortellini in the grocery store in the pre-made pasta section. Select the one that is closest to the and prosciutto-filled tortellini. This will only take a couple of moments to prepare. Refrigerated pasta only takes 7 to 9 minutes to cook. You will also needs a couple of slices of crisp cooked bacon. To this we will add a creamy Parmesan sauce to this pasta.
You may even want to make the Olive Garden Tortellini at Forno as a main dish. This would make a lovely main dish to serve. I like to top mine with some sliced scallions. Fresh sliced scallions add a nice compliment to this dish.

Love your site and the effort you put into copying the famous restaurant dishes. I am Italian and anything involving pasta is fine by me!
I made this today for the first time. It was delicious! Better than Olive garden! I added minced garlic to the butter and cooked for a few minutes then added heavy whipped cream. Left out the scallions. Thanks for the great recipe.
I am so glad you enjoyed this one.
Stephanie, is it possible to provide the nutritional information for this recipe?
Love it! thanks for sharing! I’ll try do it soon!
I love this recipe!! I made the sauce, mixed it with the uncooked tortellini, and then baked @ 400 Degrees for 30 minutes . Thank you !
This is one of my family’s go-to meals. Quick, easy and delicious!
I just made this tonight and it was very good but, depending on which kind of cream you use (I just had table cream here), the cheese sauce can become “dry”.
Next time I’ll try adding some milk to make it creamier or using regular heavy cream
I am not familiar with the types of cream you mentioned. I used heavy/whipping cream. It sounds like you may have needed a little more liquid when you made the cream.
I am not sure my message was sent so I will repeat. al Forno means baked so why is this not baked?
I don’t know why they named the dish they way they did. I only try to duplicate their recipes. They have a unique idea about scampi too.
Can you tell me who is they? I suspect you cannot so if not I understand.
They = the Olive Garden Restaurant.
It says it at the the top, title, and 16 different times in the article.
Hugh, I am sorry I don’t understand your comment.
ive had that dish and it does have a baked component, seems to be bread crumbs on top
I too suspect that they put some toasted breadcrumbs over the tortellini
al Forno means baked so why is this not baked?
When I was served this dish, it was not baked. I only try to duplicate what is served. I do not know why they do not bake the dish.
OK. I give up! Where is the advertised Copycat Olive Garden Tortellini al Forno” RECIPE? The pictures are nice, but the recipe itself is missing.

I hope you enjoy the recipe!
I have made the chicken and gnocchi soup and the minestrone soup. But the chicken and gnocchi soup is my very favorite. That is Delicious and am so glad to have that recipe.
And a very special ” Thank You” to Stephanie Manley. I have both of your books and reference them almost on a daily basis. Keep doing what you do as you are a blessing.
Which tortellini do you buy? Cheese stuffed?
I bought cheese stuffed for this recipe. This would most closely resemble the Olive Garden’s.
Made this tonight, it’s very close to the real thing. I will absolutely make this again! Thank you!
I am happy you enjoyed this one!
