Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Soybean Oil
  • 1/2 cup White Vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons MSG
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 cup sliced Celery
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped Onion

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in an electric blender. Mix at medium speed for 3-5 seconds until celery is finely grated. Add dressing to the salad and toss. Serves 6 to 8 people and makes 1 1/2 cup dressing.

    I have a much healthier dressing that tastes just like the one from Bennihana’s.
    1 large carrot, chopped
    1 shallot chopped
    2 Tbsp. fresh ginger, chopped
    2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/4 cup grapeseed oil
    2 Tbsp. miso (japanese flavoring)
    Blend in blender all ingredients except grapeseed; add that slowly after the rest has been mixed!
