Colonel Sanders Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie is a favorite pie of so many of us. Did you know the Colonel Sanders has a recipe for Pecan pie? This recipe came from a booklet Colonel Sanders put out in 1964. The wording is extremely choppy, but these are the Colonel’s recipes. He did not include his Chicken Recipe in this booklet.

  • 4 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2/3 cup pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell


  • Place pecans in an unbaked pie shell, and mix all other ingredients together, and pour into pie shell. Bake 35 minutes in a 325 - 350 degree oven.
