Crispix Snibbles is a recipe the Crispix cereal company created to help sell their cereal, it has been a family favorite at my house for a long time.
Growing up I spent a lot of time at my Grandparents houses, being the only grandchild for many years often meant I got to try all sorts of tasty treats at everyone’s house. Crispix Snibbles was one of those tasty treats I got to enjoy often.
What are Crispix Snibbles?
Crispix Snibbles are cereal coated with a caramel coating, and lots of salted peanuts are added to this mixture. It is a lot like Cracker Jack or candy-coated popcorn. This recipe made with cereal so the bite-sized pieces crispy, and the variety of the rice and corn pieces of cereal make for a great treat.
Recipe from Virginia McDowell. Jefferson City, MO. 1996.
