Heavenly Hash Cake
Ingredients
Cake Ingredients
- 8 ounces butter
- 4 eggs
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chopped nuts
- 1 package large marshmallows
Icing ingredients
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
Instructions
Cake Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cake Melt butter and cocoa. Pour the rest of ingredients in and mix with the exception of the nuts, add last, and mix again. Pour into an 8 x 11-inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Place marshmallows on top and place cake back into the hot oven to soften the marshmallows. Remove from oven and press together.
Icing Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl combine powdered sugar, vanilla, butter, milk, and cocoa. Mix with a mixer until well blended. Frost cake with the icing.
