Is this the same Jerry’s Apple pie that had a little plate lunch place on N. Main back in the 70’s? I ate a lot of his pie, which his wife actually made, and it was covered in a sugar glaze, she used comstock apples, made the crust off the recipe on the crisco can.

The recipe calls for canned apples, but you’re using fresh apples. Are three apples equivalent to the 10 – 20 oz can?
