top ten copykat recipes

I have been recreating recipes for a long time, almost 20 years.  In 2014, it will be my 20th year of recreating recipes online.  I try to keep up with what is most popular for you.   Last year,  I had a request from someone and that was to list the top new recipes of the year, and so this is that list.  As you know all recipes online here aren’t duplicates or clones, but some are recreations of dishes that you often get out.  I also try to replace dishes that you may buy pre packaged.  It is always great to save a little money.   If we are alike, the extra money in my pocket is always welcomed.

This year my most popular recipe wasn’t even a traditional restaurant recipe, it was a post on how to cook roast beef in the oven.  This recipe was the most popular recipe of all year.   The Olive Garden Chicken Scampi was a recipe that was requested by a fellow viewer who wrote one of my favorite emails I have ever received.  Other entries in the top ten this year are for jalapeno poppers, Luby’s Skillet Cabbage, Panda Express Broccoli Beef, and a recipe inspired by a friend of mine, Fran Feldman of FrantasticTravels with the No Knead Bread.   So let’s move onto the top ten new recipes for 2013.
