Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

  • 10 ounces Marshmallows
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cups of Rice Krispies
  • 3 tablespoons peanut powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces chopped chocolate


  • In a medium-sized saucepan over medium-low heat, add marshmallows, peanut powder, and butter. Stir until melted and well-blended. 
  • Add cereal and stir until well coated. 
  • Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly and firmly in buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
  •  Allow the treats to cool to room temperature before adding the chocolate. 
  • Make ganache by heating 1/2 cup of heavy cream in a small saucepan until it boils.
  • Turn off the heat and add chopped chocolate. Stir until the mixture is smooth and uniform. Spread over the cookies.
  • Cut when the chocolate sets. You may want to store these in the refrigerator.
