Cranberry Jello Salad is the perfect complement to a turkey dinner. Lemon Jell-O, an orange, and celery add a lot of flavors to this fresh cranberry salad.
Combine the gelatin and hot water in a large bowl and refrigerate until syrupy. It should become syrupy in about 90 minutes. Keep an eye on it to ensure that it doesn’t set up completely.
Put the cranberries and orange through a food chopper or food processor. Add the celery and sugar, and chop. Make sure the cranberries, orange, and celery are chopped up very well.
Stir the cranberry mixture into the gelatin and refrigerate until set.
Recipe Tips
• If you don't have a food chopper or grinder, you can use a food processor to cut everything up.
• Want to mix it up? You can add apples, canned pineapple, or walnuts to your cranberry salad. Don’t use fresh or frozen pineapple, as the gelatin may not solidify.
• Make your cranberry salad a dessert by topping it with whipped cream.
