Hot Sauce Frosting

Hot sauce frosting is a fun way to top a cake.

  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla


  • Put corn starch, sugar, and water in sauce pan. Boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Stir in vanilla, and butter. Remove from heat. Pour over any flavor of cake. Instead of icing.
