Pour the melted butter into an 8-inch square baking pan.
Combine the milk, sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt to make a batter.
Pour the batter over the melted butter. Do not stir.
Pour or spoon the pie filling evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
Bake for about 30 minutes, until the cobbler is bubbling and a crust has formed and browned.
Recipe Tips
If you don't like blackberries you can substitute any other kind of canned fruit pie filling. Apple, blueberry, cherry, mixed berry, and peach are all great choices.
