When this comes out of the oven, it looks like an earthquake has happened - a chocolate quake!

Ingredients

sweetened coconut flakes

chopped pecans

German chocolate cake mix
prepared according to package directions (but not baked)

cream cheese

butter or margarine
softened

powdered sugar

teaspoon
vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease the bottom of 9x13-inch pan. Do not grease the sides.
Mix the coconut and pecans and spread the mixture in the bottom of the pan.
Pour the prepared cake mix over the coconut and pecans.
Cream together the remaining ingredients and spoon the mixture in dollops over the cake batter.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
