Porcupine meatballs are a classic that everyone loves.

  • 28 ounces tomatoes canned
  • 2 cans water
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup Minute Rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal or cracker crumbs


  • Combine tomatoes, water in large pot, heat to boiling. Mix beef with remaining ingredients, roll into small balls. Drop into tomato sauce and reduce heat, simmer 1 hour.
