2tablespoons fresh herbs like flat leaf parsley, dill or even chives
1teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
Clean fresh green beans, and snap off stem end, and if the bean is more than 4 inches long or so, cut in half. Boil approximately 2 quarts of water that has been salted with 1 teaspoon of kosher salt. Once water is boiling add green beans, and cook for approximately 6-8 minutes.
You want the beans to still be somewhat crisp when you pull them out. Place beans into a bowl, add butter, and fresh herbs, combine beans, butter, and herbs. Season with salt and pepper if you desire. The herbs in this recipe are really meant to be fresh ones, and you can use whatever you have on hand. Be experimental in your paring of herbs and fresh vegetables.
