In a pot over medium heat, add two tablespoons of vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, add minced white onion. Add a pinch of salt, and cook the onions until translucent. Then add minced garlic, and cook until the garlic is fragrant.
Add ground beef, and cook stirring occasionally. Break up meat into small pieces and cook until lightly browned. Drain excess grease.
Add hotdogs, and cook until they are warmed through and start to take on some color.
Add banana ketchup, tomato puree, and tomato sauce. Stir sauces into the ground meat mixture. Reduce heat to low. Add water. Cook for about 10 minutes.
While the sauce is simmering, cook the pasta according to package directions.
Taste the sauce after about 10 minutes, add the two teaspoons of sugar to the sauce if it tastes acidic. Then season with salt and pepper.
To serve, place a portion of the spaghetti on a plate, then top with sauce, and sprinkle the easy melt cheese on top.
