Olive Garden Spicy Three Meat Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 48 ounces marinara sauce (2 jars)
- 16 ounces crushed tomatoes (1 can)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped hot cherry peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pepperoni
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound dry thick spaghetti
Instructions
- Sauté the onion and red bell pepper in olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. When the onions become translucent, add the marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, and hot cherry peppers. Turn the heat down to a simmer.
- Brown the ground beef and Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Transfer the ground meat to the large pot with the sauce. Add the pepperoni and Italian seasoning and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- While the sauce is simmering, prepare the spaghetti according to the package instructions.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper and serve over the spaghetti.
