Sweet Tomatoes Southern Dill Potato Salad

You can make this Sweet Tomatoes classic Southern Dill Potato Salad at home.

  • 2 pounds red potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups whole fat plain yogurt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons teaspoons dried dill or teaspoon fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • Cube red potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes, place in a pot and cover with water, potatoes are served with the skins on. Boil potatoes until soft. Drain potatoes, and place into the fridge. When the potatoes have cooled place into a bowl, add yogurt, dill, and salt. Mix together well, and season for salt and pepper if needed. 
  • This tastes better when the flavors meld together. While this is how they serve their potato salad, I think radishes, or even a few green onions would make this a nice change.
