Recipe Tips
The key to a perfect smashed burger is using a very hot cooking surface and applying firm pressure when smashing the meat. Only smash once at the beginning—never press down on the burger while it's cooking or you'll lose those precious juices. For the buffalo sauce, Frank's Red Hot is non-negotiable if you want authentic flavor—other hot sauces will change the profile significantly.
