Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make cuts into the potato, stopping just before you cut through so that the slices stay connected at the bottom of the potato. Space the cuts about 1/8-inch apart from each other. You will want to place about 8 to 10 cuts into each potato. When you have cut all of the potatoes place them in a baking dish. Brush or drizzle melted butter onto potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until all potatoes are tender.
