Omaha Steaks has discontinued a crock pot meal called Southern Smothered Pork and green beans. I want to make it myself but all the online recipes call for packaged gravy and Cream-of-Whatever soup. I want to make from scratch.

Man, I hate when this happens. If I can’t try the recipe, I don’t know how to duplicate it :(. I would need to know more about what makes southern smothered pork chops so good.

We would like recipes for Red Lobster’s Walt’s shrimp–these butterfly shrimp have a coating on them that is somewhat like breadcrumb–some people suggest Waltl’s is a standard dip in milk, egg, bread crumgs and deep fry–that is not it. That makes a hard crunchy. Anyone know what tea bags McAlister’s famous sweet tea, please? Best we’ve ever had
January 4, 2019 at 4:28 pm
McAlister’s uses Lipton tea, I think they have great marketing on their iced tea. Belinda, what type of shrimp on the menu are you talking about?

Do you have a recipe for banana bread ?
Dan Baker says
October 4, 2018 at 9:09 pm
5 whole overripe bananas (peeled) 4 eggs 1 cup shortening 2 cups sugar 4 cups flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 cup buttermilk 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts, optional) -Blend all ingredients together well and fill bread/loaf pans about 2/3 full and bake on center rack of oven for 45-50 minutes at about 330 degrees F. -Turn loaves out of baking pans onto wire rack to cool. -This recipe makes a lot of banana bread, but the loaves will keep well in the freezer for those cold winter’s afternoon to eat with hot cocoa or your favorite warm beverage.
