This is a great way to dress up bread. By mixing together butter, and a variety of cheese together and then melt in the oven until bubbly will please even the most finicky diners.

Black Angus Cheesy Garlic Bread

There are very few of the Black Angus around anymore, but you can enjoy the Cheesy Garlic Bread still with this copycat recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 Loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup shredded Asiago cheese you could try Parmesan
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • 1 cup mayonaise
  • 1 cup chopped green onions chip
  • 2 teapoons minced garlic

Instructions

  • Split French bread loaf into halves horizontally. Mix butter, cheeses, mayonnaise, green onions and garlic in bowl, blending well. Spread the cut side of bread halves with spread. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes, then place under broiler about 3 minutes longer. Cut into slices and serve.

    This bread is my favorite recipe! Sometimes I add a little sprinkle of Ranch Dressing Mix. Everyone who has ever tried it says that they could make a meal off of this bread alone!
