Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound pasteurized process American cheese
  • 1 (4-ounce) jar pimentos
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine first 6 ingredients in a small saucepan; cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. 
  • Remove from heat; pour over cheese and mash to blend ingredients. Add pimentos, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper; mix well. Store in refrigerator.
