Growing up my Grandmother made these cookies for my Dad, they were quite good.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Sugar Twin
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cup oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 4 ounces appleasuce
  • 2 cup flour

Instructions

  • Cream Sugar Twin, shortening, and eggs. Add the rest of ingredients and mix well. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
