Copycat Wing Recipes

These are my favorite copycat recipes. There are many restaurants you know and love plus a few you can discover if they are not in your area.

Air Fryer Wings

An air fryer is great for making crispy wings without frying them in oil.

Baked Wings

You don’t always have to fry wings, you can bake them in the oven.

Fried Wings

Deep frying is the most common cooking method for chicken wings. Then they are served or tossed with sauces and seasonings.

Grilled Wings

Did you know wings are less expensive during the summer? Grill some wings during the hotter months, it makes a nice change over steaks and chicken breasts.

Pressure Cooker Wings

You can make some tasty wings in an Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker.

Slow Cooker Wings

You can cook wings in a Crockpot or slow cooker with great results.

Thanks for the variety of flavors! I would love to see a recipe for Wing Stop’s Hawaiian sauce! I LOVE this sauce and always ask for extra for dipping!

San-J Sweet and Tangy Polynesian Glazing and Dipping Sauce comes close. I found mine at Fresh Thyme, but it’s also sold at Wal-Mart Online at a minimum. I also used hickory in a smoke box while cooking the chicken, added a Habanero pepper and pineapple paste blended in a wet/dry spice blender to the sauce…used half to glaze while cooking, and half as a finishing sauce.

I’d also LOVE a Copykat recipe for Ale Emporium’s Hermanaki wings! I spend part of the year in Indianapolis and part of the year in Florida, and in Florida I always go through withdrawal! (I swear I could live on the Hermanaki boneless chicken fingers!)

I’m looking for T.K.s six pack, zesty Italian wing sauce. It’s not a bottle of the dressing it’s something different it’s dark in color and has a kick. If you could help I’d appreciate it. It’s located in Altoona and Hollidaysburg, Pa.

Reguardless of what your favorite baked wings are, steam them first for 13 min then proceed with the rest of the recipe. Steaming cuts the oven time by 20 % and insures an extremely moist result. 5-6 min under the broiler and you are back to crispy wings or you can finish them off on the grill.

My boys were just asking me for wings last night! We love ’em. Thanks for including a couple of mine in this awesome round up! There are so many good ones to try!
