This is a delightful cheese spread. This goes great on French Bread, and is perfect with soup!

The Pantry Cheese Spread
Ingredients
- 1 pound margarine
- 3/4 pound sharp Cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/4 pound Romano Cheese shredded
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together until fluffy, using electric mixer on low speed. Spread on sourdough French bread and toast under broiler. Note: The spread keeps for months if stored in the refrigerator in airtight container (if it lasts that long).

We have been making this exact recipe for years. My mother-in-law got the recipe from The Pantry restaurant in Portland, Oregon before they closed some years ago. She used to give each of us a jar at Christmas and we really looked forward to it.
