It started as an occasional treat during my lunch break—a decadent, icy Mocha Frappuccino from Starbucks that was the perfect midday pick-me-up. But those $5+ drinks quickly became a daily habit, putting a serious dent in my budget. One day, while sipping my favorite chocolatey coffee concoction, I experimented with recreating it at home. After several attempts (and many delicious “failures”), I finally perfected this copycat recipe that tastes identical to the Starbucks original but costs a fraction of the price. Now, I save over $100 monthly while still enjoying my favorite frozen coffee treat whenever the craving strikes!

What if you don’t have maple syrup? Is there a sub or will it taste off?
You could use a heavy simple syrup. Make this by heating 1 part water with 2 parts of granulated sugar.
Turned out great! Thank you. Now I don’t have to spend $6 on this treat for my daughter. It was delicious. I used evaporated milk instead of half & half, because that’s all I had on hand and it worked well. Also, made homemade chocolate syrup (very easy to do).
