Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces melted butter
- 1/2 cup raisins optional
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 3 tablespoons buttter
Instructions
- Mix first eight ingredients together and place in 9x9 glass pan. Mix remaining ingredients and spread on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, or until heated through. Recipe may be doubled. Enjoy!

Hi Stephanie. I’ve been looking for Burbanks cornbread recipe for years. They served it as an appetizer. It was so good- taste like a cake.

the only difference between Burbank’s and La Comedia’s sweet potato casserole is 1C mashed sweet potato? That would make Burbank’s a casserole with a tad more structure because of the potato to egg ratio. I think I will make Burbank’s instead for Christmas dinner.
