What makes Domino’s Bacon Loaded Tots so unique?

Tater tots at a pizza joint? Yes, and they’re darn glorious. In 2023, Domino’s started serving Loaded Tots, and customers went wild for them.

Sure, the smoky bacon bits and a mix of gooey cheeses are a good start, but the zesty Garlic Parmesan Sauce takes these tots over the top when it comes to taste. Whether sharing with your friends or snacking solo, you can’t go wrong with these Domino’s tater tots.

Why you will love this recipe

Domino’s Loaded Tots are great, but they’re pretty pricey when you compare how much they cost to the other menu items. Plus, depending on how far you live from your local Domino’s Pizza, the tots can be a bit soggy once they land on your dining table. Recreating them at home with this copycat Domino’s loaded tater tots recipe will save you money and ensure you always have the hottest and crunchy tots possible.

Variations

Just about anything you serve on top of fries will work well here. But you can go beyond chili or spicy cheese sauce by recreating varieties similar to the flavor combos of Dominos tater tots.

Melty 3-Cheese Loaded Tots. These are the tots for anyone who can’t get enough cheese. Swap a half cup of shredded provolone cheese for the bacon bits in the recipe above and replace the Garlic Parmesan Sauce with creamy Alfredo Sauce. If you have time, why not make the Alfredo Sauce from scratch

Philly Cheesesteak Tots. Saute a half cup each of thin strips of white onion and green peppers until tender. Cut a minute steak into strips and add them to the pan with the vegetables. Stir for a minute or so until the steak is cooked to your liking. Spread the mixture over the cooked tots and then drizzle with Alfredo sauce.

What to serve with Domino Tots

Chicken wings. When it comes to finger foods, chicken wings still reign supreme. Check out some of these scrumptious chicken wing recipes to find your new favorite.

Pizza Rolls. Domino’s may be known for pizza, but sometimes homemade pizza is just better. These portable pizza rolls are loaded with pepperoni, sausage, and cheese and are a unique spin on traditional pizza pie.

Italian Chopped Salad. Sneak some vegetables into your snacking with a side of California Pizza Kitchen Italian Chopped Salad. This salad is a hearty mix of deli meats and veggies tossed in a tangy Italian dressing.

How to store the leftovers

Let the tots come down to room temperature before transferring to an airtight container and putting them in the refrigerator. You shouldn’t keep any tots you served, but it is OK to keep the ones you didn’t serve in the fridge for up to three days.

What is the best way to reheat Dominos Loaded Tots?

For hot and crunchy tots, warm them up in a 350°F air fryer or a 375°F. Remember to spread the tots out and cook them until the cheese melts.
